Kakadu hosts first instameet

This weekend we welcomed seven very talented photographers to Kakadu to capture our park in all its atmospheric glory. And all we can say is, ‘Wow!’ The results are wonderful!

Their Kakadu adventure has included a visit to Ubirr rock art sites, a scenic flight over Jim Jim Falls, swimming in Gunlom’s natural infinity pool and authentic Indigenous experiences with Top Didj.

The ‘grammers, who have a combined fan-base of 800,000, have been in the NT since Wednesday – exploring Darwin, soaking up the delights of the famous Mindil Beach sunset markets, and meeting baby crocs at Crocosaurus Cove. Find the pics on Instagram with the #NTAustralia hashtag – and track down the instagrammers (including Australia’s only professional instagrammer, Lauren Bath) on these handles.

  1. Excellent! Good to see Parks Australia welcoming pro photographers to Kakas.
The Park needs more of that. All exposure is good exposure.
    Keep up to good work.
