We don’t usually like to brag – but we are very excited to have topped the list of The Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Sunrises of the World!
Uluru is filled with ancient culture and stories – and the desert landscape adds to the beauty and wonder of the area. That certainly does make for a pretty special sunrise but there’s plenty more to us – Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is dual World Heritage listed for its outstanding natural and cultural features. As well as enjoying a spectacular sunrise you can walk the base of Uluru, take a guided tour and learn about the mala (rufous hare wallaby), walk between the domes of Kata Tjuta, view rock art, and explore the heritage of Anangu in the Cultural Centre and galleries.
After all that exploring we can’t deny that watching the sunset is the perfect way to end a day in the heart of Australia!
