Our young visitors enjoy feeding the mala fundraiser

Our cute but endangered mala are getting a boost from the visitors to Uluru – who can donate to help them!

Our brand new mala display in the Cultural Centre is attracting plenty of attention. Money raised will go towards supplementary feeding of the mala – which currently costs us about $22,000 a year.

We’ve had a fox and cat proof paddock for mala (rufous hare-wallaby) since 2005. In an environment free of threats, our original 25 mala have flourished, with the population now over 200!
