New activities for spring school holidays

Try life as a bee plus dress-ups and dance at the gardens this spring

What could be better than spring at the Australian National Botanic Gardens? A heap of exciting new school holiday programs, that’s what!

We’re thrilled to introduce some awesome new activities – educational dance sessions, cartooning your own enviro-superheroes and even a digital SLR photography workshop for older students. We’ve got every age-group covered and they’ll be learning while they’re being entertained.

Explore your natural environment with fun and engaging cartooning workshops lead by local illustrator - Andrew Hore, while older students are invited to discover nature and wildlife photography with professional photographer Bill Corn of  Wildlifebytes.

And what better way to learn about animals in the gardens than to be an animal? Little ones will get the chance to dress up in a range of colourful costumes including our gorgeous bee and butterfly outfits and learn some easy dances - discovering the beauty of the gardens as they go!

For dates, times, prices and all the details please go to What’s On at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. And don’t forget to keep us posted on the fun. We’ll put your pics on our Facebook page!
