We’re especially excited the weekend’s here because this Sunday is Family Science Day at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The gardens will open the doors of the Australian National Herbarium, plant nursery and seed bank for fascinating tours and demonstrations as part of National Science Week.
The weather is set to bless us with warm winter sunshine so why not try out a range of hands-on scientific experiments scattered throughout the gardens and take a free family science trail too?
We’re also hosting our very first science cafe series. Cafe Scientifique will feature lively social science forums and discussions with prominent scientific speakers in our newly designed cafe, Floresco in the Gardens. Come down and share your opinions and see what others think – there’s nothing like some healthy debate to get ideas and inspiration flowing!
All events and sessions are free but some require booking as numbers are limited. For a full program of events and more details visit the Australian National Botanic Gardens’ website.
