Admin staff with rangers and at Kakadu National Park | L to R Jenny Hunter, Karen Beare, Melinda Phillips, Tamykah Anderson, Deb Rogers, Ebenezer Robinson. Standing – Oliver Scheibe

It’s not often the admin staff get the chance to witness the rangers bringing in a croc trap so we were stoked to see the action when they brought in a 3.7 metre male croc.

The capture was part of a monitoring program which has seen eight crocs caught at the billabong since Christmas. Caught in a trap at Mudginberri Billabong, near the pontoon and boat ramp, he was measured, tagged and released back to his waterhole.
