Summer Sounds in full swing

2012 Summer Sounds launch - Annie and the Armadillos with Kokoloco Dancers

The Australian National Botanic Gardens’ popular Summer Sounds concert series is in full swing.

More than 4,000 people have already attended, watching acts like The Cashews and the Kokoloco dancers. And as you can see from this photo, getting into a bit of dancing themselves!

It’s a great way to unwind so I’d encourage everyone in Canberra to grab their family -  and a picnic basket - and head to the Gardens.

On offer this weekend are The Wedded Bliss and Folk Dance Canberra on Saturday and well-known local outfit Annie and the Armadillos on Sunday. Thanks to all our staff at the Gardens who work hard every year to make the concert series happen. For more information on the Summer Sounds visit the Australia National Botanic Gardens.
