Mornings are a great time to sit at the Nadab Lookout at Ubirr and appreciate the vast views, blue lagoons and the luminous emerald green floodplains as you gaze towards the coast. The serenity and cultural significance of the landscape offers a real sense of place. It is also a good spot to see budbong (short-eared rock wallabies), baark (black wallaroos) and birds such as garnamarr (red-tailed black cockatoos) which are more active in the cool of the day.
Gates at Ubirr open daily at 8:30am.
