It’s whales, whales, whales all the way

We’re just wild about whales at Booderee National Park… and we hope you are too!

They’ve already reached our shores – we’ve seen both humpbacks and southern right whales pass by our Cape St George Lighthouse as they make their northern migration up the New South Wales coast.

Find out more about how to spot a whale and about the whales we have been seeing on our whale watching web page.

We also want to know what you’ve seen – which is why we’re supporting the NSW Parks Wild about Whales campaign. You can tell Wild about Whales about the whales you’ve seen at Booderee via Twitter, Facebook or by emailing wildaboutwhales@environment.nsw.gov.au

The information Wild about Whales receives is then uploaded to their website wildaboutwhales.com.au allowing everyone the chance to follow the whales on their northern and southern migration and giving us more information about these large but graceful animals.
