Kata Tjuta – an arid desert landscape?

Uluru and Kata Tjuta are luxuriating in almost tropical splendour after all the rain. Visitors are stunned by the dazzling green hues — from dusky olive to lime and emerald — in what is normally a dusty red and dry golden landscape at this time of year. A great time to visit as these tourists to Walpa Gorge at Kata Tjuta found.

  1. This is a stunning photo that does justice to the magnificant colours that are on display after the significant rain events over the last few years. The Australian coastline is spectacular but whilst the entire central interior is looking this good take a journey there, you won’t regret it. It might be another 30 years before it is this good again!
