Parks Australia has been hosting Pauline Riman from Papua New Guinea’s Department of Environment and Conservation. Pauline is working on the Kokoda Initiative program.
Here’s what Pauline had to say about her time with us:
“I will have some great memories to take away back to PNG of my time with parks and gardens! The Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra is a beautiful place and a tribute to Australia. I was amazed at the numerous distinctive and strangely-beautiful variety of Australian plants there. I admire the passion and sheer hard-work of the Gardens staff and all the Parks Australia people. The ideas, experience and learning I’ve had will assist me with my work for the Kokoda Initiative program, a flagship of the bilateral cooperation between the governments of Papua New Guinea and Australia. ”
